If I leave the place clean
and tidy can I get my cleaning fee back?
ANSWER: The cleaning fee is calculated based on the average time it takes to
take a tidy unit and sanitize it for our next tenant. This fee is usually
based on about 3 hours of cleaning time and a certain amount of consumable
supplies. In order to ensure that the unit is completely sanitized properly
for each new tenant and to maintain my standard of cleanliness in the unit I
have to use the cleaning company as a result it is not possible to give back
the cleaning fee no matter how clean the place my be left.
The cleaning company will need to spend the 3 hours on site to sanitize the place. If it
takes them less time that that is great but for what they do it never seems to happen. If it takes them longer to clean because either the place was
left messy, or they had to wait for linens to come out of the washer or dryer then the additional time it takes to clean the unit will be deducted
from you security deposit.
-
Why do I have to pay a
security deposit?
ANSWER:
In order to ensure that the place is treated properly it has been
proven necessary to hold cash as security for damage to the unit. This
amount is usually returned in full within 15 days of the rental. On occasion
it may take a bit longer if i have to wait to receive phone bills etc, to
verify charges.

It mentions in your
advertising that you have a canoe and paddle boat available for me to use.
How does that work? Do I get exclusive use of them?
ANSWER
The canoes and paddle boats are available for use by all
my tenants. You may not be the only tenant I have in the complex at any one
time. It is expected that you will be courteous and share use of these water
craft with other tenants. If it turns out that this does not work, I will
have to use a sign up sheet and have my rental manager supervise the use of
this equipment. I really would rather not go this route is I do not have too
-
It mentions in your
advertising that you have an aluminium boat with an outboard and a Jet boat.
I would love to use one of these during my stay. How does this work?
ANSWER
These boats area available for use by my tenants at my discretion. In
order to use this equipment the operators of the craft by law need to have a
boaters license. If they do not have a boaters license they will not be
granted access to the equipment. In or to use either of these boats the
prospective tenant will need to have a letter of coverage issued by their
home insurance company stating that the boats will be covered for damage as
well as liability in the unlikely event that an accident should occur. It
should also state the amount of the deductible on the policy. Access to the
boat will be granted once this letter is produced and once a cash deposit is
left with us for the amount of the deductible.
-
